Duel in the Sun is a seafood and steakhouse that provides an authentic dining in Scotland experience.
Turnberry’s 19th hole is the unforgettable Duel in the Sun restaurant. Named after the famous battle between Tom Watson and Jack Nicklaus at the 1977 Open, it overlooks both the opening and closing holes of both the Ailsa and King Robert the Bruce golf courses.
The menu is updated seasonally and features premium ingredients and sustainable produce from local suppliers that are personally selected by the Executive Chef.
Fresh lobsters are landed in Girvan, just few kilometres from the resort; and prime meat is sourced from Scottish producer Campbell’s Gold. Both of these delectable options are perfectly caramelised by the kitchen’s Spanish-style Josper Grill.
