Ayrshire Connect

Ayrshire Bed and Breakfast Association

The Ayrshire Bed & Breakfast Association (ABBA) is a network of B&Bs, guest houses, hotels and self-catering accommodations  in Ayrshire who work together to promote best practice and collaborate to help attract more people to Ayrshire. Book direct with local hosts to get the best price for your stay as well as a warm welcome and quality accommodation.

Members of the Ayrshire B&B Association have been welcoming guests for years to a variety of accommodations including B&Bs, guest houses, hotels and self-catering apartments.  B&Bs & guest houses are run by the owners - so they genuinely care about you.  If you haven't stayed in one for a while, you will be surprised by the quality, high standards and professionalism.  The Hotels are small and managed by local owners too. All our self-catering properties are individual in style and character because their owners have created them and manage them personally.

All of our members are experienced and passionate about their businesses and offer excellent local knowledge and advice on what there is to see and do in the local area as well as further afield.  They can tell you best restaurants, cafes and bars to visit and know the best hospitality venues for those with dietary requirements.  They can also offer discounts to many local attractions and most can book tee times and discounted packages at the many golf courses in the area.

Booking directly with members of the Ayrshire B&B Association also allows you to get the best possible rates for you stay – there is no commission and most offer more flexible cancellation policies.  Large online travel agents always add on commission fees and these are reflected in the higher prices you will see on their sites.

Many of our members offer other extras - free high speed internet, free parking, and many other luxuries that the big chain hotels will charge you for. Most of the accommodations also offer their rooms with or without breakfast and some offer evening meals.  Some are adults only and others are family and/or pet friendly – there is an accommodation to suit everyone!  But best of all you will be sure of a warm welcome from a host who will do everything they can to ensure you have a fantastic stay in the beautiful county that is Ayrshire.
