South Beach Sessions is an Ayrshire-based live music promotion project, launched in 2014 under the umbrella of Plan B Events, and rooted in a passion for intimate, high‑quality gigs in Troon and across the region. Over its first decade, South Beach Sessions has showcased over 500 acts—ranging from acclaimed singer‑songwriters like Eddi Reader and Blue Rose Code, to rock legends such as Stiff Little Fingers and The Skids. Beyond these intimate and large scale shows, the organisation founded WinterStorm, an annual rock festival (now in its ninth year), featuring dual stages: a main arena and the more personal “Sessions” stage, the latter often branded as the South Beach Session stage during the November festival. Driven by the principle that audiences will support quality live music, tickets may be modestly priced - but always deliver value through curated line‑ups and exceptional sound and world class performers such as Albert Lee, Chris Difford, John Jorgenson and The Webb Sisters. Plans to secure a permanent venue continue alongside event programming across varied county locations, aiming to strengthen the culture of live performance in Ayrshire.
