Sorn Castle

At the heart of an 8000 acre privately owned estate, Sorn Castle is a warm and luxurious venue steeped in history and tradition. Under the ancient walls of the original fourteenth century keep, are the foundation stones that have long supported this wonderful space for gatherings and celebrations. Available for exclusive hire, weddings, corporate retreats, private parties and sporting pursuits, the stately interior is a wonderful stage for any occasion.

Sorn Castle is currently the home of Jamie and Jemma McIntyre. Having grown up at Sorn with five brothers, Jamie met Jemma in London where they enjoyed a full and busy social life. They married in 2008 and having moved to Sorn Castle shortly after, together they continued with their mission to host and entertain which is the philosophy on which the castle has grown. Sorn Castle has evolved over the centuries with entertaining guests at the forefront. The estate and castle provide a wonderful backdrop and special platform to gather people and celebrate in style. Whether through private hire of the castle or enjoying the views from the adjacent marquee, the grounds of the pink castle provide the perfect sanctuary to host any occasion. Throughout Jamie's childhood, the memories of grand parties on the lawns and a car rally arranged through a marquee where guests dined, inspired the duo to expand the guest list. Embracing the idea of entertainment and creativity by offering a bespoke service to maximise the appreciation of their wonderful home as the perfect Scottish venue.
