Craufurdland Towerhouse

A Destination for making Memories - Craufurdland Towerhouse self catering accommodation. Craufurdland Castle is one of the oldest in Scotland and has belonged to the Craufurds of Craufurdland for nearly 800 years. Set in 600 acres of stunning Ayrshire countryside, surrounded by woodlands yet only 20 minutes from the centre of the exciting city of Glasgow. Just 5 mins from Jn8 M77 and only 2 miles from the railway station. Craufurdland Castle offers the perfect blend of a countryside retreat only a stone’s throw from the attractions and excitement of Glasgow. The Castle’s exclusive use self-catering ,(4 Star Visit Scotland rated), sleeps 12 people in the 6 double bedrooms, with 4 additional sofa-beds in 3 of the bedrooms, ideal for upto 12 adults and 4 kids . Each of the bedrooms are unique and beautiful, with most being named after historical people connected to the Craufurds. 5 of the bedrooms can be twin or Superking . The Georgian Drawing room is stunning with spectacular views over the Ayrshire countryside, and steeped in history. We sincerely hope you will have a fabulous stay, and that you will find everything you need in the house. We (Simon and Adity Houison Craufurd, and our two daughters, Indra and Manisha) live next door in the Laird’s House as Craufurdland is a ‘semi-detached castle’.
