Dating back to 1812 The Anchorage Hotel is the oldest licensed premises in Troon and boasts excellent view of the Isle of Arran. The Anchorage Hotel is a family run business with a Bar and Restaurant which offers a great range of food and drink suited for everyone as well as our outdoor Beer Garden where you can also eat and drink.

The Anchorage Hotel offers plenty of options to entertain guests both young and old. The traditional Scottish Bar is a great place to relax with a malt whiskey or enjoy local produce with a freshly prepared meal. Entertainment is also available from live sporting events to a live D.J. There are plenty of outdoor activities available with golf, fishing and horse riding all in the surrounding area. The Anchorage is the perfect base for your stay in Troon whether it's for a golfing break or just to get away and enjoy the wonderful scenery that the West of Scotland offers. With welcoming fires, large sea-view rooms, a spacious garden area and a warm welcome from our team of staff who take pride in making your time in Troon as enjoyable as possible. The local train station is a short walk from the hotel, this means that you are only moments away from many neighbouring towns. Prestwick airport is approximately 10 minutes drive and Glasgow city centre 30 minutes drive from the hotel. 2
