A.D. Rattray

A. D. Rattray are an independent whisky company who have been selecting and bottling Scotch whiskies for over 150 years. They create limited-edition single cask and small batch single malts. They focus on highlighting the distinctive flavours and characteristics found in individual casks of whisky. Browse and buy their award-winning whiskies online or by visiting their Whisky Shop in Kirkoswald, South Ayrshire.

At A. D. Rattray we believe whisky is the finest and most interesting spirit in the world. As an independent whisky company, we have been selecting and maturing casks of single malt Scotch whisky for over 150 years. Established in 1868 the company has passed down through generations of the Morrison family, a name that is steeped in whisky heritage. Today we continue to go to great lengths to source interesting casks and quality spirit from across Scotland to create our distinctive whiskies. At the core of our portfolio are our single cask bottlings, The A. D. Rattray Cask Collection, which along with our award-winning Casks of Scotland single malt Scotch whiskies, are ready to be discovered and enjoyed. Every bottle has a story to tell… As single cask whiskies are at the heart of what we do, a highlight of our shop are our bottles filled straight from the cask in our Cask Room. Surrounded by the atmosphere of a traditional warehouse, each bottle is filled from the whisky cask by hand. Once filled, the bottle is dipped in wax and completed with a handwritten label that includes all the whisky details, date bottled and your chosen name or message. You can browse and buy an ever-changing range of A. D. Rattray whiskies in our shop, including our personalised whiskies and many shop exclusives like our House Malt and Warehouse Collection.
